Australian Marinas Set High Environmental Standard

Marinas across Australia and the Asia/Pacific region now have a new environmental standard. The first marinas in the region to achieve this new environmental benchmark are all South Australian marinas. They are Cape Jaffa Anchorage, Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia and The Marina Hindmarsh Island.
The Hon. Pat Conlon, SA Minister for Transport, Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Energy presented the three marinas with their accreditation at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia on Wednesday 28 July. The function was attended by 50 industry and government representatives.
Yachtdomain Expands its Operations in South East Queensland

Expanding on the success of its regional office at Port of Bundaberg, Brisbane based International Brokerage House Yachtdomain Pty. Ltd. has launched another Marina- based office in South East Queensland.
The new office is based at Scarborough Marina on the busy waterways at the northern end of Moreton Bay.
Splash Down for Dash Mounted Apple iPad

In what is believed to be a world first, Outback Marine Australia Pty Ltd released an Apple iPad dash panel mounting system at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The system, developed by OMA, transforms the iPad into an integral helm panel instrument that extends dash panel functionality to the Internet and multimedia.
Suzuki Revamps Service School

Suzuki Marine has today launched its newly refreshed service school, now located at The Haines Group's recently refurbished state of the art facility in Wacol, Brisbane. The two-day workshop operates 25 times a year, and offers dealership technicians the opportunity to train and become up-to-date on new products and technical advances introduced by Suzuki.
